The Opportunity:

As a P&C Adviser, you will provide effective and high-quality advice and support to internal clients.  You will work with other team members and the business to deliver the people strategy, and to assist in achieving business priorities.  This role will contribute to all areas of People & Culture, including recruitment & onboarding, employee engagement, performance enhancement, performance management, reporting, learning & development, HRMS management, ad-hoc administration and tending to enquiries.  You will display and promote Netwealth’s values.

In this role, you will:

  • General partnering with business to provide current and timely and relevant value-add advice and service across all areas of People & Culture
  • Support People Development, Engagement & Retention by assisting with the administering of the performance review cycle, roll out of the employee engagement survey, administering new and existing employee benefits, identifying learning needs, and coordinating reward & recognition initiatives as relevant
  • Own the recruitment cycle for your business units; attracting talent and coordinating the onboarding process
  • Champion the organisation’s vision and values by leading by example and demonstrating professional behaviour and high standards of work
  • Assist with programs to advance diversity, mentoring, career progression, employee capability
  • Maintain a working knowledge of legal, employment & safety requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Become a HRMS superuser, ensuring integrity and completeness of employee information, and contribute to the HRMS project rollout
  • Responsible for data gathering for P&C reports, refresher background checks, due diligence (COI), emerging trends, audit reports
  • Provide support across the P&C function as required, including projects, committees and improvement activities

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources
  • Knowledge and experience with HR/P&C best practice policies and processes
  • An understanding of current employment legislation and ‘Employer of Choice’ practices
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills which demonstrate balanced judgement
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and expectations
