The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team, reporting to the General Manager, Product.  Your main areas of responsibility will be to undertake the management of product strategy, product development and product maintenance, for all netwealth products.  And to work within the team to deliver competitive and functional products and to support the sales team with competitor analysis and client base transitions.

Product responsibility will be allocated to the role on an as needs basis from time to time.  Products include; Netwealth Superannuation products, Netwealth IDPS products, Netwealth Managed Funds, and Netwealth Managed Account.

The primary responsibility of the Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Netwealth continues to maintain and develop an effective product strategy and that the product strategy is implemented, ensure that proposals for the development of new products and product features are effectively assessed and implemented, ensure netwealth product functionality, product disclosures and product communication complies with regulatory obligations and internal compliance requirements, and ensure Netwealth is represented accurately and to our best advantage in external research surveys, and to assist Sales and Marketing teams in the sale and promotion of netwealth products

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Tertiary qualification in financial services related disciplines (commerce, financial markets or financial advice)
  • Financial services experience in product development and preparation of disclosure documents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial products and their application and of financial services regulation and disclosure requirements
  • Experience in project management and coordination of cross functional projects
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to enable effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and preparation of reports and disclosure documents
  • Attention to detail, to ensure complete and accurate information in financial models and written documents Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to undertake complex modelling
  • Ability to work as a constructive member of a team, and to build internal & external stakeholder relationships
